Surfing
Krik Vig (the Inlet og Krik) attracts surfers from far and near and is very popular with beginners and inexperienced surfers.
| Part of the campsite being bounded by the river and only 200 m distant from the fiord, makes Krik Vig Camping the perfect base for surfers. You can put your surfboard into the water from the campsite and drift with the current directly into the fiord or you can choose to put your surfboard into the water near the old pier in Krik, only a few hundred metres distant from the campsite.
Krik Vig Camping provides good facilities to surfers: availability of a place to clean, rinse and air-dry wet suits and other gear, a quickcamp for surfers staying in motor homes and the like, an area to pitch the tent by the river, a safe parking place where you can leave behind your car trusting that the expensive surfing gear will still be there when you return - and a quick solution to supper in our cafeteria. |
